The Director General, Erina Bokowa of UNESCO organization with the extra curricular minister, Akila wiraj Kariyawasam and the Archaeologist, Senarath Dissanayake has visited to Sigiriya. They have visited the Sigiriya Museum and the murals too.On their visit to Sigiriya Mrs Erina have reported that they have made plans to safeguard and protect the valuable monuments of Sigiriya.
